The Role: Quality Control Specialist, Finished Product


We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist, Finished Product to join our Quality team at Stone Island HQ in Ravarino.
In this field-based role, you will conduct on-site quality inspections at external manufacturing partners primarily focused on outerwear, trousers, sweatshirts, and T-shirts. You will ensure that production meets Stone Island’s quality standards and work closely with both suppliers and internal teams to drive improvement and consistency.


Your Impact

The Day-To-Day

 

  • Perform quality checks at external manufacturers and subcontractors on finished and semi-finished garments
  • Evaluate compliance with technical standards, fitting, and customer requirements, documenting any issues clearly
  • Collaborate with the central Quality team on corrective actions and structural improvements
  • Draft inspection reports following company guidelines, ensuring timely and precise internal communication
  • Verify correct application of technical sheets and quality manuals, offering training to suppliers when needed
  • Maintain strong and proactive relationships with suppliers to promote ongoing quality performance improvements
  • Work in synergy with the Production Planning team to stay aligned on timelines and priorities

Qualifications

Key Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in quality control or similar technical roles in fashion, ideally on finished garments
  • Flexibility to travel frequently throughout the week to supplier locations (mainly in Italy; international travel may be required in the future)
  • In-depth knowledge of garment construction, manufacturing processes, and finishing standards
  • Strong analytical skills to detect and diagnose product issues
  • Autonomy in planning and managing supplier visits
  • Good English proficiency for inspections, reports, and supplier communications
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) and the ability to work with digital documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, assertiveness in controls, and a problem-solving mindset
