Position Overview:
The Retail Merchandiser is responsible for managing the merchandise lifecycle, from buying and inventory control to in-store allocations, ensuring alignment with sales trends and market needs. This role collaborates with HQ and retail teams to optimize product mix, drive sales, and support special projects. Additionally, the Retail Merchandiser oversees reporting, delivery coordination, and merchandise training, contributing to the overall success of the retail business.

Role and Responsibility
OTB and BUYING
- All aspect of buying; OTB entry, sales trend analysis and size analysis
- In charge of style selection and order entry in master file and HQ system
- Take vital role in special project and gifting item purchase planned by HQ
- Preparation post season report
REPORTING
- Preparation of weekly sales analysis report and report to HQ
- Preparation of Monthly sales report and Monthly sales manager meeting materials
- Other necessary reporting due to fit with the occasion
MERCHANDISE MANAGEMENT
- Liaise with VM and store managers to decide product and season mix of merchandise based on theme and store profile
- Supervise stock level, sales performance, merchandise distribution and reordering on time to maximize sales
- Align with logistics delivery schedule and distribution volume
- Liaise with Retail and Marketing/PR team for the merchandise planning of special events and PR activities
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- Coordinate shipment and deliveries with Stone Island HQ to ensure timely delivery and merchandise
- In charge of in-store initial allocation with internal program
- In charge of in-store inventory replenishment and stock transfer on a weekly basis
COMMUNICATION
- Bi-weekly, monthly sales performance review meeting with HQ
- HQ, store, internal and external clients communication to support relative activities
- Manage sample arrangements with HQ for KC test for Junior line
TRAINING
- In charge of merchandise training to front line staff

Requirements
- Ability to think outside the box when analyzing the business
- Possesses strategic agility
- Ability to react quickly to changing demands of business
- Excellent organizational skills and drive for results
- Ability to operate all equipment and programs necessary to perform the job
- Ability in reading the numbers and sensitivity on the product
- Merchandising experience, luxury retail preferred RTW
- Advanced Excel and Access skills preferred
- Ability for frequent travel
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (ie; Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Knowledge of English
