The Role: Omnichannel Operations

 

At Stone Island we are always looking for people who share our spirit and values to drive our company forward. We are currently looking for an engaged and passionate Omnichannel Operations who can join the Retail Team at the Stone Island HQ in Milan.

As part of the HQ Retail team, you will play a pivotal role in the deployment of Omnichannel Excellence initiatives, and activities holding a cross-functional position that collaborates closely with key departments. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration of Operational business strategies across all retail projects, enabling consistent execution that aligns with the company's objectives.

You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the effective consolidation of Store Operations utilizing data-driven insights to drive business success. By coordinating the activities of all involved departments, you will facilitate communication and collaboration, optimizing processes to enhance the customer experience across all sales channels. Additionally, you will engage with regional teams, gaining a comprehensive omnichannel perspective that empowers you to influence decision-making across diverse markets.

 

The Day-To-Day:

 

  • Lead Project Management for Non-Merchandising Supply: Spearhead initiatives that streamline distribution and control processes, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.
  • Drive Digital Transformation in Retail Stores: Champion the digital evolution of retail stores, integrating cutting-edge technologies to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate Retail network development: coordinate the several departments, facilitating seamless coordination across all departments to ensure successful launches of new Stores openings.
  • Enhance Global Store Database Monitoring: Drive the continuous improvement of the worldwide store database ensuring the perfect feed of the whole company systems, enabling insightful analysis that empowers strategic decision-making.
  • Gather and Develop Regional Insights: Collect and analyze regional needs to support the business by innovative operational activities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and responsiveness.
  • Optimize Retail Store Maintenance: Implement innovative strategies to boost maintenance efficiency, ensuring that retail environments operate at peak performance.
  • Analyze Regional Inventory Performance: Monitor regional inventory results meticulously and develop targeted action plans to drive improvements, maximizing stock turnover and reducing excess.
  • Budget Definition and Expense Oversight: Take charge of defining budgets and exercising monthly oversight on expenses, ensuring financial health and alignment with organizational goals.

 

 


Qualifications

Key Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in the role 3-5 years
  • Excellent communications Skills
  • Previous experience in project management / sales roles in Fashion Retail/Hospitality, preferably in a Luxury and Contemporary Retail environment
  • Economy, Enterprise Management
  • Ability in dealing with people and an attitude for teamwork
  • Very trustworthy, flexible, and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, define priorities
  • Fluency & proficiency in both Italian and English - additional languages are a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, 365, especially Excel.
