The Role: Demand & Distribution Manager At Stone Island we are always looking for people who share our spirit and values to drive our company forward. We are currently looking for an engaged and passionate Demand & Distribution Manager who can join Omnichannel Planning, Allocation and Distribution Team at the Stone Island HQ in Milan. Reporting to the Omnichannel Planning, Allocation& Distribution Director, the Demand&Distribution Manager, will be responsible for the merchandise distribution across all DTC Channels and for Permanent products supply. You will have the opportunity to join a team focused in stimulating projects with the aim to improve all the important Supply Chain processes, working close with Merchandising, Business, Production and Logistics. Your Impact Demand Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for Permanent products based on historical data, market trends and sales expectations. Translate demand into supply needs to ensure product availability, minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. Coordinate with Merchandising and Production to identify risks and opportunities in the Permanent selection and supply flow. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, including coverage and forecast accuracy, providing a frequent reporting Regions and HQ. Distribution Manage inventory levels for the entire Collection to achieve target goals in term of sell through and coverage with a strong attention to merchandising mix. Identify and execute rebalancing strategies at worldwide level to improve stock performances. Tracks deliveries from Production, checking stock availability in the central warehouse. Coordinate with Logistic to optimize deliveries time/frequency according to stores needs/capacity. Develop custom tools and reports to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering or related fields. At least 8 years of working experience in Fashion Supply Chain. Use of Microstrategy and Board will be considered a plus. Fluent in English. Strong relational, problem solving, analytical skills and capability to manage projects at worldwide level taking leadership. Passion and high motivation for Stone Island brand and products. Training & Development: Collaborate with other departments to organize training programs, provide coaching and mentoring to Store Managers, and promote internal talent development to foster leadership growth. Team Engagement & Support: During store visits, engage with teams to address challenges, recognize achievements, and offer ongoing support to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement. Clienteling & Development: Collaborate with CRM department to Store teams have client mind-set, leading & supporting Store Managers to operate Clienteling activities. Brand Representation Brand Standards: Ensure all stores comply with Stone Island’s brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in visual merchandising and store presentation. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on local market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences, providing feedback to enhance business strategies. Cross-functional Collaboration Communication: Work closely with HQ, regional teams, and other departments to ensure aligned execution of brand strategy. Project Management: Actively lead, conduct, and participate in cross-functional projects with other functional departments aimed at improving retail performance and client engagement.
