Senior Merchandising Planner, APAC

Job Description

Overview

  • Manage the financial success by meeting sales, gross margin, gross margin return on investment and inventory management goals.

  • Construct OTB by collaborating with region merchandising, finance, retail and HQ planning to optimize sales with a thorough understanding of collections and trends

  • Analyze historical data and forecast trends to identify risks and opportunities, design flow of products with the aim to raise efficiency

  • Regular analysis of actual sales results to plan, and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly/ monthly/ quarterly basis of APAC Markets, on own initiatives and management requests

  • Responsible for managing permanent collections, traffic builder products including eyewear and perfumes

  • Collaborate with merchandising and VM to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and business opportunities as well as aligning company goals and brand image

  • Identify risks and opportunities with constant monitoring of business and economic environment and recommend strategies to achieve financial goals

  • Present the market differentiation of financial plans, trend and strategies in key meetings


Your Impact

In charge merchandising planning job and reports to Senior Merchandising Manager, Asia Pacific. She/he needs to cover the planning and allocation over entire Asia Pacific Region, including Hongkong, Taiwan, Singapore, Macao, Australia etc.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Planner or equivalent

  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities

  • Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

  • Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills

  • Ability or aptitude to learn technical applications/systems quickly

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Language: Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must
