Overview

MONCLER is currently seeking an EMEA Financial Planning & Control Analyst (Controller) to join our dynamic and international Corporate Office team in Paris and help us achieve continued growth and excellence in our operation.

 


Your Impact

  • Business Analysis
    • Analyse the sales performance on a weekly basis by channel, by boutique and by clientele
    • Work closely with the EMEA top management on the monthly and quarterly targets’ setting and achievement
    • Follow the retail KPI: Traffic, Conversion Rate, UPT, store productivity …

 

  • Monthly Financial closing
    • Be proactive before the month-end with the EMEA departments (Operations, Omnichannel, Communication, HR) for preparing the month-end closing
    • Work closely with the Accounting teams on the month-end activities: PO, accruals, reclassifications …
    • Be responsible for the quality and consistency of the financial data reported and alert on any risk or opportunity
    • Analyse the Opex variations vs. last year and budget / reforecasts (Rent, Travels, Stores’s operational costs, Omnichannel costs, Communication costs) sent to each head of department

 

  • Budget & Reforecasts
    • Participate to the budget/reforecasts of the EMEA region anticipating the needs from the EMEA departments to align to the HQ guidelines
    • Work on the sales budgeting process
    • Support in the preparation of the Budget presentation

 

  • Other Activities
    • Prepare ad hoc analysis requested by the EMEA top management or HQ
    • Business partner to the regional EMEA head office and the retail area directors
    • Identify and drive any process improvement through report’s simplification or new Excel dashboards

 


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Business School / University) in Finance/Audit
  • First significant experience in Finance / Controlling in the retail industry (Luxury industry will be a plus)
  • Proactive, rigorous, analytical skills, reliable and consistent
  • Ability to evolve in a complex environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP, Tagetik and Microstrategy will be appreciated
  • Fluency in English (spoken, reading and writing) is a must. French / Italian will be a plus.
